The bike
The La Bicicleta company was born in San José, Costa Rica in 2002, with the purpose of creating shows of cultural and educational interest for all audiences. In addition to taking shows to different organizations, they create artistic dolls for collectors and lovers of puppets, provide participatory forums on the themes of the works presented and offer the creation of thematic shows to different institutions.
The Bicycle has traveled through Costa Rica and has been presented in the United States, Canada, Spain, Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and Cuba.
Due to its itinerant nature, La Bicicleta arrives with its shows at festivals, institutions, companies and different types of organizations.
As well:
offers the creation of shows and tailored thematic videos to different organizations; ranging from the conception of the show to its staging. Some clients: Archaeological Museum of Panama Viejo, Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers, National Institute of Women, Popular Bank, Municipality of Escazú, Gold Museum and Numismatic Museum, Paniamor.
designs and builds puppets, masks and props for different organizations and other artistic groups.
